2026 Kickoff: New Tools, New Wins, and the Road Ahead for Your Castle Real Estate

There is a distinct shift in the air this year. As we gathered for our first company meeting of 2026, the energy in the room was a far cry from the uncertainty of early 2025. Despite the variables we can’t control—like mortgage rates—the optimism among our agents in Denver, Colorado Springs, and Northern Colorado is palpable.

This meeting wasn’t just about looking back at a successful 2025; it was about arming every Your Castle agent with the "gems" they need to dominate the second quarter of 2026.

Celebrating Our 2025 Award Winners

Success leaves clues, and our 2025 award recipients proved that grit and follow-up are the ultimate differentiators in a changing market.

  • Top Producer (Most Sides): Jim Gordon (46 sides closed).

  • Largest Transaction: Amy Nakos ($15M deal, the result of 3 years of diligent follow-up).

  • Most Improved: Lisa Gathercole (Business increased by a staggering 400%).

  • Rookies of the Year: Mitch Rivard ($186K GCI) and Rotz Rupe ($75K GCI).

  • Rising Stars: Top 2nd-year agent Devin Lease and top 3rd-year agent Ashley Moberly ($252K GCI).

  • Relocation Excellence: Dahlia Williams led the pack in a department that moved $81M in volume last year.

Innovation Alert: The New Marketing Center

In partnership with Breakthrough Broker, we are officially soft-launching the new Your Castle Marketing Center. Think of it as "Canva on steroids," but specifically built for real estate.

Key Features Include:

  • MLS Integration: Enter your MLS number, and the system auto-populates property data and photos into your templates.

  • Direct Mail Made Easy: Use "radius mapping" to target specific neighborhoods or upload your own sphere of influence. Mailers arrive in 4–7 days.

  • One-Stop Shop: A central hub for social media assets, print materials, and links to our training calendars and CRM.

Pro Tip: While the platform is automated, our in-house marketing team is still available for those high-end custom projects that need a personal touch.

Expert Insight: Success is a Mental Game

We were honored to hear from Kyla Hammond, a perennial top-10 producer. Her journey from a PhD in literature to a top-tier agent is a testament to the fact that there is no "one way" to succeed in this business.

Kyla’s Fundamentals for 2026:

  1. Show Up Every Day: Treat your business like a career, not a hobby.

  2. Focus on Process, Not Just Goals: Yearly targets are reached through daily, intentional habits.

  3. Be a Goldfish: In a high-stress industry, you must learn to "forget" the negatives (like being ghosted or losing a lead) and move forward.

  4. Don’t Go It Alone: Real estate can be isolating. Find a team or a colleague to collaborate with.

Market Trends: A Regional Snapshot

Lon Walsh provided a deep dive into the data, helping us set realistic expectations for our clients.

Northern Colorado (NoCo)

  • Outlook: Likely the highlight of Colorado for 2026.

  • Inventory: Currently a Seller’s Market for detached homes (2 months of inventory).

  • Opportunity: The condo market is easing into a Buyer’s Market, offering great opportunities for entry-level buyers.

Colorado Springs

  • Outlook: The "halfway point" between NoCo and Denver.

  • Pricing: Expect a soft reduction in prices over the next two quarters before flattening out.

  • Inventory: Tighter than Denver, leaning slightly in favor of sellers for detached homes.

Denver Metro

  • Outlook: Prices remained relatively flat through 2025, and we expect a similar trend for 2026.

  • Strategy: Accuracy in pricing is more critical than ever as we move into a balanced market.

Coming Up: Important Compliance & Training

Mark your calendars for February 24th. Greg Parham will be hosting a vital class on new FinCEN reporting rules taking effect March 1st. If you work with investors, LLCs, or trusts, these detailed reporting requirements will impact your closing timelines.

Stay tuned for the full rollout of the Marketing Center and let’s make Q2 2026 our strongest yet!
